Small towns and villages in The Way: Sahagún

And we continue discovering the villages and small towns of the French Way. Between the River Cea and the River Valderaduey, we found Sahagún, a Mudejar villa located in the south of León's province.

The town of Sahagún is a historic city in which you will find Muslim and Christian influence reflected on its remarkable architecture. Its fantastic heritage it is perfect for all the history and art lovers who will find churches, monasteries and other ruins from medieval times.

On the inside of the village, you will discover quiet streets in which you will enjoy the medieval atmosphere thanks to its architecture and design, house of wood and brick will delight your stay there. Some of the must-see spots of the city include the gates of the Monasterio de San Facundo, Trinidad Church or the recently repainted San Juan Church.
